2026 UA Youth Football Season: Key Dates

Registration for UA Youth Football opens May 1, 2026

REGISTER FOR TACKLE OR FLAG HERE

We will have the following Leagues again this year:

  • Flag Football
    • Pre-K / K
    • 1st / 2nd Grade
  • Tackle Football
    • 3rd / 4th Grade (Black League)
    • 5th / 6th Grade (Gold League)

Important Dates for 2026:

  1. Camp Registration: 2/1
  2. Season Registration Open: 5/1
  3. Jersey/Donut Day: 5/1
  4. Camp Registration Closes 5/20
  5. Golden Bear Football Camp: 6/1-6/4
  6. Parade: 7/4
  7. Season Late Registration Begins: 7/8
  8. Season Registration Closes: TBD
  9. Evals: Week of 7/6-7/10, 7/10 or 7/14
    1. w/Jersey fitting station to allow for ordering lead time
  10. Equipment Fittings: 7/15, 7/16
  11. Program Week Off: 7/18-7/25
  12. Team Selection: 7/27 (week of)
  13. First Tackle Practices: Week of 8/3
  14. Game 1 = 8/23
  15. Game 2 = 8/30

Emergency Procedures / AED’s

UAHS Turf Practice Fields – Emergency Procedures

AED:

    • Primary location – In the storage shed in northeast corner of fields
    • Secondary location – In the pool on the west wall
    • Open and follow the instructions
  • Emergency First Aid Kit should be present at ALL practices and games

Athlete Transportation via Ambulance:

An adult is to ride in the ambulance with the athlete. If a coach goes with the athlete, another coach must be available to stay with the rest of the team.

  • Anytime 911 is called for an athlete, the parents or legal guardians must be immediately contacted and informed of: their child’s injury, their child’s current status, and which hospital their child will be transported to.

How to Call 911

  1. Remain Calm. This will aid the operator in receiving your information.
  2. Dial 911 (remember you may need to access outside line 1st)
  3. My name is: _________________________________________
  4. I need EMS at: UAHS Practice Fields
  5. The exact location is: 1625 Zollinger Rd, Upper Arlington, OH 43221
  6. The athlete is: At the practice fields south of the school

The entrance used by EMS will be determined by what part of the field the injured athlete is on.

  1. There is an athlete with a ________________________ injury (head/neck, fracture, loss of consciousness, heat illness, cardiac arrest, etc..)
  2. A coach or administrator will meet the ambulance at the predetermined entrance of the and guide them to the injured athlete.
  3. I am calling from: (Phone number)
  4. Wait until the operator hangs up first.

Northam Park Turf Field – Emergency Procedures

AED:

    • Primary location – In a box on the wall inside the block house
    • Secondary location – In a box of the left wall in the Senior Center.
    • Open and follow the instructions
  • Emergency First Aid Kit should be present at ALL practices and games

Northam Park Grass Practice Fields – Emergency Procedures

AED:

    • Primary location – Attached to the outside of the blockhouse
    • Open and follow the instructions
  • Emergency First Aid Kit should be present at ALL practices and games

Athlete Transportation via Ambulance:

An adult is to ride in the ambulance with the athlete. If a coach goes with the athlete, another coach must be available to stay with the rest of the team.

  • Anytime 911 is called for an athlete, the parents or legal guardians must be immediately contacted and informed of: their child’s injury, their child’s current status, and which hospital their child will be transported to.
